We set high ethical standards all along our value chain. Our suppliers adhere to the standards of our Ethical Sourcing Program: We make sure that employees all over the world receive wages enabling a dignified quality of life. We do not tolerate child labour or any other kind of forced labour. In accordance with the regulations of OHSAS 18001   we value the protection of people, occupational safety and health care.

To ensure our standards are met we conduct Supplier Self-Assessment, which we run with our material suppliers and contract service operations, covering more than 90 % of the value of our total purchased materials. In addition, we have identified a group of focus sites which is split into plants and the selected important suppliers, warehouses, distribution centers and contract operations. In all of those operations, we also do on-site audits to review our ethical sourcing criteria.
